Tanguy has released his connection control for CRM http://connectioncontrol.codeplex.com/ - it's helpful in that it resolves the orgnames and stores them in a config file so if you're switching between orgs frequently, it's pretty painless.

I like this tool, but it's a challenge when having to switch between deployments.
