ADFS/IFD error

Using version 1.6.0428.15, I have problem connecting to on-premise CRM2011 by ADFS/IFD.

CRM Server: the same URL that I use on the web browser.

The error returns: Failed to connect to CRM.
System.ServiceModel.Security.SecurityAccessDeniedException: Access is denied.

Server stack trace:
at
System.ServiceModel.Channels.ServiceChannel.ThrowIfFaultUnderstood(Message reply,...)

Any suggestions?

Hello,

judging from error message you don't have access to your CRM server with supplied username/password.
You could try using both values in the Username field: DOMAIN\Username and Username (without domain) and see if it solves your problem.
Make sure you use URL in format: https://orgname.domain.com/
You don't need to supply Organization name separately.

Also, please make sure you have proper security permissions to create, update, import and export solutions and customizations.
Security roles System Customizer and System Administrator have all necessary permissions by default.

It works by appending the organization name to the URL.

Glad it solved out.
I will try to improve inline help for Connection dialog in future builds.
